In the past 6 years, I have been top 1% brokers in sales in Oregon.

My Background

I came from a scientific background with a PhD in Biophysics from Stanford University.

Prior to becoming a realtor, I was a chemistry professor and biotechnology scientist, teaching chemistry and marketing biotech products to the scientific community.
My family and I live near Corvallis, Oregon. We love Oregon for its diverse cultures and beautiful landscapes. My hobbies include reading, hiking, swimming, and gardening. I am fluent in English and Chinese.

Personally, I enjoy cooking, gardening, swimming, and outdoor activities. I donate generously to local charities and volunteer in local schools and communities to benefit the future of our children. I serve as the director of Hua Yi Language & Art academy as well as Growing Visions, a non-profit organization devoted to promoting healthy living.

About Me

I have lived in Corvallis since 1987.  I know the various communities and have been selling homes throughout the Valley since 2002. I've lived, worked, volunteered and raised three of my children and two foster children here.
Clients who are new to the area will benefit from my knowledge of the Mid-Valley Real Estate and can rely on me for professional representation when you are ready to sell your home. If you are purchasing a home I am able to educate you on the various aspects of our community and guide you through the buying process. Many of my clients choose to purchase homes for their students attending OSU rather than pay high rental costs. Often when students graduate the property has accumulated enough equity to help offset tuition costs when the home is sold.

I have experience selling new homes, listing and selling existing homes & working with sellers who for various reasons need to use a POA or a trustee is selling an estate.  There are unique aspects associated with the selling of each type of property and I will guide you through your transactions to create the best experience possible.

Professional Background

My husband and I used to own and operate a graphic arts photo lab in Hollywood, California. Having previously worked in escrow and title, I have served as a real estate consultant/broker since 2005.

About Me

I and my husband, now a retired Good Samaritan Hospital radiology technologist, wanted for many years to live in the Pacific Northwest before finally realizing our dream in 2003. We love to travel, especially to Italy, and also explore much nearer to home in our tent trailer. I am an avid quilter. Having found a wonderful piano teacher here in Corvallis, I'm attempting to do my grand piano justice. We have three grown children, in Colorado and California, and four grandchildren.

Community Service

I love that Windermere is committed to community service, and that a portion of each of our transaction commissions goes to the Windermere Foundation, which supports worthy charities. Company-wide, Windermere also sponsors a "Community Service Day". Everyone from our office this year spent a day working at the Safe Haven Humane Society.
I serve on the Board of Corvallis-OSU Piano International.  We promote piano culture in our community with our annual Steinway Piano Series attracting international artists to the stage of the LeSells Stewart Center on the campus of Oregon State University.  We also organize and sponsor piano workshops, master classes, a semi-annual spanish language concert and a yearly children's concert.  I worship at Northwest Hills Community Church in Corvallis.

Stefanie is a trained Relocation Specialist and was raised in a ‘real estate family’. Two of her sisters practice real estate in Alaska. She has real estate in her blood. As one of six children she understands the art of negotiation. She knows how to roll up her sleeves to get the job done when working with buyers, sellers, cooperating agents, lenders, inspectors and contractors. There are two driving forces that propel Stefanie forward in real estate:

In 2009 my wife and I left Texas and moved to the beautiful State of Oregon with the dream of starting new careers and a family that would be immersed in a culture and quality of life that is appreciated and special only to this wonderful State.  Flash forward, we have two young children that are fortunate to attend the Good Shephard Lutheran school in Albany, my wife is enjoying a progressive career and I have made my home with the Windermere Willamette Valley real estate family.
