Bill and I met and married in Newport, Oregon where I was a dental hygienist for 26 years. In 2000 Bill was asked to be a realtor for a company in Corvallis. He was convinced that I should also become a realtor and we moved to Corvallis where we have been working together ever since. We love living in the Willamette Valley and enjoy the great weather and many amenities we have here. We have 5 grown children who live in Oregon and Washington and three amazing grandchildren. We enjoy camping, fishing, gardening, reading, traveling and spending time with family!
Windermere is one of the largest independent real estate companies in the nation, with more than 300 offices and 7,000 agents throughout the Western U.S. and Mexico. They believe in putting relationships before sales quotas with an emphasis on service to clients and our communities. We donate a portion of our commissions to benefit the Windermere Foundation. That money provides assistance to non-profit agencies dedicated to helping homeless and low-income families in our local community. Every year since 1984, Windermere agents have dedicated one day of work to those in need. Some of our community service day projects included maintenance of a local youth shelter, working with Linn-Benton Food Share and more!
Stefanie is a trained Relocation Specialist and was raised in a ‘real estate family’. Two of her sisters practice real estate in Alaska. She has real estate in her blood. As one of six children she understands the art of negotiation. She knows how to roll up her sleeves to get the job done when working with buyers, sellers, cooperating agents, lenders, inspectors and contractors. There are two driving forces that propel Stefanie forward in real estate:
1. The joy of handing a first time home buyer the key to their new home.
2. The satisfaction of helping a seller close one chapter so that they may move forward to writing their next.
Stefanie loves when you ask 'why' because great questions lead to great answers! Our website, www.windermere.com, gets millions of hits each month. We are regularly chosen by reviewers as the best in the Northwest. When your home has a Windermere sign on the front lawn you can be sure you have chosen the most successful company in the area to market and sell your property.
Stefanie lives in Philomath, Oregon, with her husband and two daughters. She’s very passionate about promoting adoption and anti-bullying. When she's not showing homes she's probably writing. Long before she was a Realtor® she had a passion for those without homes. In Alaska she ran a residential women’s home for homeless women for several years bringing women off the street and back onto their feet. As a married woman she adopted an infant daughter from India. She loves providing a home to all the stray cats that show up at her country home as well as having adopted two rescue dogs. As a Realtor®, Stefanie is thrilled to help you sell or buy your home. If you are tired of drive-bys and peeking in windows to view a home call Stefanie. Let her find you a home. She may even adopt you.

My career path towards real estate was most impacted by my experiences growing up in a family of entrepreneurs and contractors. Helping my parents with their businesses from a young age taught me the basics of running a business, the necessity of integrity and most importantly, it taught me the value of hard work. I had my first taste of customer service as a host at a steakhouse. I discovered that I have a natural talent for working with and relating to people and continued to waitress throughout high school and college, eventually moving into bartending. My experiences thus far have revealed that I LOVE helping others and would be happiest in a profession that allows me to connect with new people every day and leave a positive mark on their life.
I believe that you are always one decision away from a totally different life. That turning point for me came when I made what I now know to be one of the best investments of my life. I bought my first home at the young age of 19. Although my home was quite the fixer upper, it was MINE, and that was an exhilarating feeling. The experience was wonderful, primarily because I worked with a phenomenal Realtor who helped me navigate the ins and outs of the real estate market. It impressed upon me the important role that Realtors have in the lives of their clients, and sparked my desire to be that helping hand to the people around me. The combination of that feeling, my love for helping others, my experience in home remodeling, and my degree in business carved the path for me to become a Realtor.
After my family planted their roots and raised me in the small farming town of Jefferson, my love for Oregon and the Willamette Valley continues to grow every day. Knowing that I wanted the Valley to be my home, I chose to attend Oregon State University because of the small-town feel that Corvallis and the surrounding areas offer. In my down time, I love to take advantage of the endless activities our beautiful state offers, whether it be hiking, hunting, fishing, or a short drive to the lake, beach, or mountains.
As a Real Estate professional I believe that by connecting with my clients, utilizing my skills and market knowledge and having their best interest at heart, I can serve them in a way that leaves a lasting impression and helps them to achieve their dreams. I take pride in my ability to make others feel at ease with my approachable attitude and steadfast commitment to meeting their needs. I can’t wait to meet with you and learn how I can help you improve your future.
Rather than a "salesperson" I see myself as one who helps people realize their unique dreams. As a real estate professional, I strive to provide the best service possible, keeping lines of communication open and up-dating progress continually. Also, I represent the best interests of my clients with honesty and integrity.
My husband and I used to own and operate a graphic arts photo lab in Hollywood, California. Having previously worked in escrow and title, I have served as a real estate consultant/broker since 2005.
I and my husband, now a retired Good Samaritan Hospital radiology technologist, wanted for many years to live in the Pacific Northwest before finally realizing our dream in 2003. We love to travel, especially to Italy, and also explore much nearer to home in our tent trailer. I am an avid quilter. Having found a wonderful piano teacher here in Corvallis, I'm attempting to do my grand piano justice. We have three grown children, in Colorado and California, and four grandchildren.
I love that Windermere is committed to community service, and that a portion of each of our transaction commissions goes to the Windermere Foundation, which supports worthy charities. Company-wide, Windermere also sponsors a "Community Service Day". Everyone from our office this year spent a day working at the new facility for the Safe Haven Humane Society.
I served on the Board of the Kiwanis Club of Corvallis for seven years as recording secretary and for three years as chair of the Annual Pancake Party, one of the club's annual fundraisers. I worship at Northwest Hills Community Church, as a member of whose culinary committee I help provide meals for various special events.
I moved to Corvallis from the Sacramento area in 2005 to attend Oregon State’s College of Forestry. Having worked in restaurants the entire time I was in school, once I received my degree I discovered that I was more interested in talking to people than measuring trees. I have managed the Crowbar at American Dream in downtown Corvallis for the last seven years. My time at the “bar in the alley” has given me the opportunity to get to know people from every part of the Corvallis community, and they have been telling me for years that I should get into real estate…so here I am.
People are very important to me, and the fact that I care about who they are and what they need is what helps me perform my job well. I have a young family and I know how important it is to our lives together that we were able to find the right house for us. I genuinely want to see my clients end up in a house that will serve their needs now and into the future. It is incredibly gratifying to know that I helped a family like my own find the space where their children are going to grow up.
I am used to serving people quickly—on a Friday night in a busy bar the college students want their drinks right away—but buying a house isn’t like ordering a round of drinks. I want to make myself as available as possible to clients and give them the tools and access to discover the property that lines up with their idea of perfection. I am not interested in high-pressure sales or hurrying people through the process, I will take as much time as needed to end up with the right house for each client.
As I have said, I have a young family that I am raising in Corvallis, so I am fully invested in this community. You can often find me walking around Willamette Park with my boys, or taking them for a couple of afternoon games at Highland Bowl. All of the people that I work with are my neighbors and my friends. In a small tight-knit society like Corvallis, we are all neighbors, and I hope that after working together we will also be friends.
